グリーンピースの妖精さ。
とてもかわいいだろ。この子たちは健気さ。フワフワ浮いているのかもしれないし。
妖精だからね、無意識なんだ。この妖精たちには意志はない。
でも人がいると近くに寄ってくる。もう一度言う、かわいいだろ？

僕はサイゼリヤの柔らか青豆の温サラダが好きだ。
当時中学生の僕は、これを頼もうとは思わなかった。友達から教えてもらうまでは･･･｡これおいしいんだ。なんて冗談半分なのかと思ったが、彼は本気だった。マジダゼ。そんなようなことを言っていた彼は、むしゃむしゃ食べていた。
いや、ムシャムシャじゃないな。食感が違うんだよ、プチプチかな。
どうでもいいわ！そんなこと。
そっか、そうなんだ。それを美味しそうに食べるんだ。彼が。僕はそれを見て、今度絶対頼んでみようと思った。
それからちょっと経って、いよいよ頼んでみた。教えてもらった友達とは別の友達と行った時に。
やはり、えぇ？みたいなことを言う。冒険するの？と。
はは、以前の僕と同じ反応だ。だが、僕は食べていない為、おいしいんだ。と言えなかった。
おいしいと教えてもらったから、今日はこれを食べるんだ。グリーンピースたちも。
それを望んでいるのだろうか。
ベーコン、温泉卵、そしてＧＰ。グリーンピースを略してＧＰ。
それはもう感動した。美味しい。うまい！うまい！うまい！
さすがにそこまでは叫んでいないが。心は叫んでいた。
そこからというもの、割とサイゼリヤに行くと頼んでしまうメニューだ。
けど現在は、ベーコンではなく、粉チーズになっていた。さみしかった。
だけどさ、ベーコンだろうが粉チーズだろうが、主役はGPだ。君がいればいい。
メニューさえ無くならなければいい。
しかし、正確にはグリーンピースではなくその前の早採りした「ベビーピー」というものらしい。
では、家では食べられないのか！？とずーっと思ってたんだけど。
おととい、冷凍食品のGPを買ってみた。有機栽培のアメリカ産のものだ。
楽しみだった、家でこれが食べられるなんて！！
というわけで作ってみた。
甘かった、最高だ！美味しい！
These are green pea fairies.
Aren't they cute? They're so adorable. They might even be floating around.
They're fairies, you know, so they're unaware of their surroundings. These fairies don't have any will of their own.
But they come close when people are around. I'll say it again, aren't they cute?

I love the warm green bean salad at Saizeri.
When I was a junior high school student, I never thought I'd order that. Until my friend told me about it… "It's delicious!" I thought he was joking, but he was serious. He was really eating it like that.
No, not "eating it like that." The texture is different, kind of crunchy.
Whatever! That doesn't matter.
So, that's it. He eats it so deliciously. Seeing him eat it, I thought, "I'll definitely order that next time."
A little while later, I finally ordered it. When I went with a different friend than the one who told me about it.
Of course, they said, "Really? Are you going to take a risk?"
Haha, the same reaction I had before. But since I hadn't eaten it yet, I couldn't say, "It's delicious!"
I ordered it because my friend said it was delicious. And the green peas…
Are they hoping for that?
Bacon, soft-boiled egg, and GP. GP is short for green peas.
It was amazing. Delicious. Delicious! Delicious!
I didn't actually shout that out loud, but I was thinking it.
Since then, it's become one of my go-to dishes at Saizeri.
But now, instead of bacon, they use powdered cheese. I was sad.
But, whether it's bacon or powdered cheese, the main thing is the GP. As long as it's there, that's all that matters.
As long as it's still on the menu.
But apparently, it's not actually green peas, but rather "baby peas," which are harvested earlier.
So, does that mean I can't eat it at home!? I'd always wondered that.
The other day, I bought some frozen GP. Organic, from the USA.
I was so excited! To be able to eat this at home!! So, I decided to make it.
It turned out so sweet and delicious! Absolutely amazing!
